Horizontal Machining Center

A Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) is a CNC machine tool with a horizontally oriented spindle. It is designed for efficient machining of complex and heavy workpieces.

HMCs are known for their high productivity and excellent chip removal, as gravity helps chips fall away from the cutting area. They are well suited for milling, drilling, boring, and tapping operations on multiple sides of a part, often using a rotary table or pallet system.

Because of their efficiency and automation capabilities, Horizontal Machining Centers are widely used in automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, and mass production industries.
